2024

It has been 2 years since I last posted. A lot has happened, both positive and negative. In 2022 I started a new job. In 2023, my mother got seriously ill. Her health got so bad, it left her incapable of living on her own. In less than 3 months I had to find an assisted living facility for her, and sell her condo. So doing any type blog posts was out of the question.

Things are now settled. Mom is in a nice facility, and she is flourishing. Sadly, we ended up losing a cousin in February. This is what life is all about: going through ups and serious downs. December 2024 will mark 16 years since starting this blog. In the next few months I plan on making some considerable changes to my blog. This will be a gradual process for me. I haven’t stopped reading, so in the next 2 weeks I will be adding some new posts. The first being an update from a 2009 post about Nadia Comaneci. It will be eye opening. This particular book was first published in Romania, and it has been released in English.

So thank you dear readers for staying the course with me. I am looking forward to new beginnings in 2024!!!
